  • Which login do I have to use?

    Click here to register directly in the webshop: https://tickets.wiener-staatsoper.at/webshop/webticket/customerlogin.secure or on tickets.wiener-staatsoper.at and on the button »Login«. 

    • If you have already registered in the »new« webshop, log in under »You are already a customer?«
    • If you were already a Culturall customer and know your e-mail address, log in under »You are already a customer?« and enter a new password. You can find out how to do this here.
    • If you were already a Culturall customer and know your user name, but not your e-mail address, log in with your user name under »You cannot register with the e-mail address you currently used at Culturall or a new registration is not possible?« You can find instructions on how to do this here.  
    • If you have never bought tickets for the Bundestheater (Vienna State Opera, Vienna Volksoper, Burgtheater), register on under »New here?«.
    • If you are a member of the Official Circle of Friends of the Vienna State Opera, register under »Login for Members of the Official Circle of Friends« or under »Special Login«.
    • If you are already registered as U27, please log in under »You are already a customer?« and assign a new password. You can find out how to do this here. You can find out how to register as a U27 here.
  • INSTRUCTION: How do I log in to the new webshop with my email address?

    1. Click on this link: https://tickets.wiener-staatsoper.at/webshop/webticket/shop?page=customerlogin.secure

     

    2. Enter your mail address under »You are already a customer?« and click on »Forgotten password« when you log in for the first time.

    3. Since you are logging into the new webshop for the first time, you will need to enter a new password for data protection reasons. You will receive an e-mail for this purpose. If you have not received an e-mail after a few minutes, please check your spam folder and the e-mail address you entered. Click on »Reset password« in the e-mail.

    4. You must now assign a new password. The password must contain at least 8 characters, must not be part of your e-mail address and must meet the following conditions: An uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a special character. Click on »Set password«.

  • INSTRUCTION: How do I log in if I don't know which email address I used to log in (in Culturall)?

    1. Click on this link: www.tickets.wiener-staatsoper.at/webshop/webticket/customerlogin.secure

     

    2. Click on the »Culturall Login« button under »Your current login (username)«.

    3. Enter your username that you have used to log in so far. In the desktop version you can change the language in the upper right corner.

    4. If you have forgotten your password or username, click »Forgot username/password?«. If you still know your login details, please skip to point 8 of these instructions.

    5. You will then receive the following email. If you have not received an email after a few minutes, please check your spam folder and the email address you entered. To set a new password, click on »To change your password please click here«.

    6. Your user name is already stored. Set a new password and click on »Save and log in«.

    7. Enter your email adresse and click »E-Mail-Adresse bestätigen und als neuen Login prüfen«.

    8. You will then be taken to the normal login. Enter your e-mail address and the password you have set here. Click on »Log in«. If you do not return to the login automatically, click on »Zum Webshop« and log in at »You are already a customer?«

  • Do you have problems with our webshop?

    In order to be able to clarify any questions regarding registration before the start of advance sales on May 16, 2022, our hotline will exceptionally be available from 9:00 a.m. on Monday, May 16.

  • What can I do if I have not received a password reset email?

    If you have not received an email after a few minutes, please check your spam folder and the email address you entered. 

  • When will the performances for the 2022/23 season be displayed in the webshop?

    From May 16 at 10.00 a.m., when the advance sale starts. Please log in to the webshop in good time before this, as you will need to assign a new password when you log in for the first time.

SEPA mandate

  • I ordered my BundestheaterCard with a SEPA mandate, but have now received a payment order for my subscription with a request for payment. Should I still pay in?

    Please first check whether your payment slip already states that the amount will be collected. Subscribers with an active SEPA mandate usually also receive a payment slip as information. However, it states that the amount will be collected.

    No indication of a valid SEPA mandate: if you have already sent / submitted your form for the new SEPA mandate, it may take a few working days until this is activated in the system. This may overlap with the mailings of the respective stages.

    If it has been more than 2 weeks since you sent in your application, please contact tickets@bundestheater.at to check your application status or the subscription department for detailed information about your subscription.

  • I ordered my BundestheaterCard with a SEPA mandate. How do I know that I can already use this?

    As soon as the new SEPA mandate is set up, you will receive notification.

  • As a subscriber with a SEPA mandate, I did not have to pay the service fee. Will this continue to be the case?

    Yes, but it is important that you send us a new Sepa mandate once. The Bundestheater has sent all BundestheaterCard holders with a Sepa mandate an information letter with a form. Please return the signed form by email or by post with the enclosed reply envelope to ART for ART Theaterservice GmbH, Goethegasse 1, 1010 Vienna.

    If you have not received the letter or can no longer find it, you will find it on the homepage www.bundestheater.at as well as on the homepages of the respective theaters for download or available at the box offices of the Austrian Federal Theaters.   • I have always paid my subscriptions / cycles / cards with direct debit. Can I continue to do this?

  • I have a SEPA mandate, but I don't want it anymore for the next season. Do I have to do anything?

    If the new form is not returned, the SEPA mandate expires automatically and no further steps are necessary.

    Attention for subscribers: with this you will also lose the advantages.

    Advantages SEPA Mandate:

    1. With the issuance of the direct debit mandate, the service fee (5,00€) is waived for subscribers starting with the next subscription invoice.
    2. automatic and uncomplicated processing of your payments via direct debit
  • I have had a collection order until now. Will this be carried over for the next season?

    No. Due to the change of our ticketing system, the future payment recipient will be ART for ART Theaterservice GmbH, a subsidiary of the Austrian Federal Theaters. Therefore, we need a newly signed SEPA mandate from you, which authorizes ART for ART to carry out the direct debit.

    The Bundestheater has sent an information letter with a form to all BundestheaterCard holders with Sepa mandate. Please return this signed form by e-mail or by post with the enclosed reply envelope to ART for ART Theaterservice GmbH, Goethegasse 1, 1010 Vienna.

BundestheaterCard

  • I had a deposit on Culturall. What happens to it now?

    If your BundestheaterCard also has a deposit function, you can continue to use this deposit until the end of the season (July 8th, 2022). Since the new system does not provide for a continuation of this deposit function, your credit will be transferred back to you by Culturall. You will also receive information about this directly from Culturall.

  • Will there still be bonus points next season?

    The system of the BundestheaterCard is being redesigned. The bonus points will no longer be available in this form next season. In the new season, you will continue to benefit from attractive advantages of the BundestheaterCard. 

    For BundestheaterCard holders, there will also be tailored offers in the coming season based on their purchasing behavior; your bonus points will therefore not be lost, but will flow into a new system. We will inform you directly about this. 

  • I have collected some / many bonus points. Can I still use them?

    You are welcome to redeem or purchase points for events until the end of the season (June 30, 2022). The bonus points will no longer be available in this form next season. To check your current bonus points balance, you can log in at www.culturall.com with your username and password, click on Customer Service and check your balance under »Bonus points overview«.

  • I have applied for a new BundestheaterCard. How long does it take until this is active and I can use the benefits?

    Newly applied for BundestheaterCard will be sent in June.

  • I have a BundestheaterCard. Do I have to do anything to renew it?

    If you currently have a sepa mandate with your BundestheaterCard: See YES

    If you do not currently have a sepa mandate with your BundestheaterCard: See NO

     

    If YES: The Bundestheater has sent an information letter with a form to all BundestheaterCard holders with a Sepa mandate. Please return this signed form by e-mail or by post with the enclosed reply envelope to ART for ART Theaterservice GmbH, Goethegasse 1, 1010 Vienna. If you have not received the letter or can no longer find it, you will find it on the homepage www.bundestheater.at as well as on the homepages of the respective theaters for downloading at the box offices of the Austrian Federal Theaters.     If NO: Currently the benefit program of the BundestheaterCard is being redesigned. The bonus point system will no longer be available next season. For you, this means that you will only be able to redeem points already earned for events until the end of the season (June 30, 2022). You can view your current bonus point balance here.

    In the new 2022/23 season, you will continue to benefit from attractive advantages of the BundestheaterCard. There will be equivalent, tailor-made offers for you, which the stages will inform you about directly from the 2022/23 season onwards.

     

    If your current BundestheaterCard is also equipped with a Depot function, please note that the Depot function will expire at the end of the season (June 30, 2022). Culturall will, of course, transfer back any unused credit to you. Culturall will inform you separately about this.

  • What benefits do I receive with the BundestheaterCard?

    ADVANTAGES UNTIL THE END OF THE 2021/22 SEASON

    1. All BundestheaterCard holders have the opportunity to purchase up to 4 remaining tickets for selected performances at the standard price of € 49 the day before the performance at the box offices in the opera foyer: Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (at the branch offices in the Burgtheater and the Volksoper Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and Sundays and public holidays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.. 
Information on the availability of last-minute tickets can be obtained two days before the performance by calling +43 1 51444 2950.
    2. Preferential order for standby tickets
    3. Standing room tickets: Owners of a BundestheaterCard can purchase their tickets exclusively online in the regular advance sale (from two months before the performance at the box office and online until one day before the performance). Prices: € 4 for standing room, € 3 for balcony and gallery. One ticket per person. On the evening itself, standing room tickets for all visitors (also with BundestheaterCard) cost € 10 from 80 minutes before the performance.
    4. Reduction for state opera subscriptions with direct debit
    5. »Pay later« for written ticket orders (with direct debit)
    6. The additional function »Ballet Bonus« (€ 25,-) brings a 15% discount on max. 2 full-price tickets for all ballet performances at the Vienna State Opera and Volksoper Vienna (not for premieres and special events). The "Ballet Bonus" is available at all Bundestheater box offices.
    7. For 30 bonus points, you will receive the »Two for the price of one« voucher for the Gerstner buffets at the Vienna State Opera at the Bundestheater box offices (valid before the performance - not during intermission - for sparkling wine, wine, beer, soft drinks, small coffee, petits fours and confectionery). One voucher is redeemable per person and performance.

    3. For subscribers: Service fee waived as of the next subscription invoice

    5. 20% discount for 2 dates per month, 1 ticket bookable each. Valid only online.
    6. Discounted standing room tickets, both first floor (5€) and balcony and gallery (4€)



    »Ballet Bonus«: 15% discount on full-price tickets for all ballet performances at the Vienna State Opera and Volksoper except premieres and special events. 2 tickets per performance (from all available categories). Tickets can be purchased in advance and at the box office. The Ballet Bonus is available from May 15, 2022 for € 25,- per season independently of the BundestheaterCard at all Bundestheater box offices.
